Currently in Premium on my way to California and experiencing true hardship.
Person in front of me got the sacred Alaska chocolate with their pretzels. I did not.
The only logical conclusion is that award tickets are chocolate ineligible and I have discovered the fine print.
Yes, I could have just bought chocolate for less than the cost of this flight. But that’s not the point. I booked with points for the full experience.
I refuse to ask the FA for one. I will instead sip my tea and reflect on my choices.
Is this normal on award travel or did I just lose the snack lottery?
