Tried 1A in first on the new Acela, thought I’d treat myself. Ended up moving because the noise was unbearable. My phone meter peaked at almost 97 dB.
Kind of a letdown. I know folks have already posted other issues, but for me, the old Acela (and even regular regionals) feel more comfortable. Bummed this was my first impression.
