This is such a tough choice honestly.
On one hand, the newer ship with all the nicer amenities and adults-only areas sounds amazing, especially for a sisters trip. That kind of comfort does make a difference for a full week.
But Glacier Bay feels like one of those “this is why you go to Alaska” things. I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s the highlight of their entire cruise.
Feels like it comes down to ship experience vs destination experience… and I’m not sure there’s a wrong answer, just different priorities.
If it were me, I think I’d lean Glacier Bay, but I’d probably still hesitate right up until booking.
