I find it both surprising and clever how the Netherlands is joining forces with Canada, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Spain, England, and France to attract American tourists just as the Independence Day travel frenzy begins. Honestly, it feels like every country is pulling out the stops for US wallets these days. I was in the Netherlands last year and could already see how they’re trying to spread visitors beyond Amsterdam, which is great, because the crowds there were nuts.
