Had one of those travel days.
Original EWR to YUL got cancelled, got rebooked LGA to IAD to YUL, then delays made the connection impossible.
Ended up going from EWR to Manhattan to LGA… then back to EWR for a later nonstop.
Out of curiosity I checked the earlier flight again and the delay reason had changed from aircraft delay to weather… and then to “national strike affecting all airlines.”
Is that actually a thing or just a random system excuse?
