Just got off an 8-night Virgin Voyages cruise (Brilliant Lady from Miami). There were some cool parts adults only, great room service, awesome desserts, and Richard Branson himself was on board for a few nights. Embarkation was easy, staff were friendly, and the Wi-Fi was solid.
But wow, the food (aside from desserts) was a huge letdown. Breakfast was repetitive, some items were straight-up bad, and even the “nice” restaurants missed the mark. The pool is tiny, entertainment felt flat, and the whole vibe just didn’t live up to the hype.
It also felt like half the ship were influencers filming content the whole time. Between that and the chaotic Kelis concert situation, it was kind of exhausting.
I wanted to love Virgin, but the bad outweighed the good for me. Won’t be booking again.
