Booked AF337 specifically to avoid extra takeoffs and landings… then got the message that it now has a stop in YVR “for operational reasons.” No explanation at first, and it’s only an hour on the ground, which made it even weirder.
Called Air France and they said it’s a fuel issue, so we’ll basically take off from Seattle, fly like 30 minutes, and land again. Ended up having to adjust my CDG connection too.
Anyone else ever had a flight do a super short refuel stop like this?
