I don’t usually get annoyed on the trail. Dogs, loud talkers, even the speaker people whatever. But this one thing drives me nuts:
When someone’s resting on the side of the trail, sees me coming up behind them… and decides that’s the exact moment to get up and start hiking again. Now I’ve gotta slow down and either trail awkwardly behind or pass them again 50 feet later. It’s basically cutting someone off, hiking edition.
Just wait ten seconds and let people pass everyone’s hike will be smoother.
Also, shoutout to this sub for being chill. I thought I’d get roasted for this, but apparently we’re all on the same page!
