Just flew Polaris on the 787-9 from SFO to LHR, and overall it’s a really comfortable product when everything clicks. The seat design is solid plenty of storage, good privacy, and the window seats feel especially cozy. In bed mode, it’s tight around the shoulders but the Saks bedding totally makes up for it. The blanket and pillow combo still feel premium.
Dinner service was decent. I went with the chicken pretty average but the sundae cart is still a nice touch. Breakfast before landing was rushed, though the coffee was surprisingly good. IFE screen was sharp, and the movie selection was huge, but the touch response could be smoother.
Cabin lighting and design give off a calm vibe, especially on the Dreamliner. Crew made the difference this time friendly, proactive, and actually smiled, which you don’t always get these days.
