Maybe just bad luck, but all four of my flights were completely full.
I’m ALP, CP, and a cardholder. Got Group 2 on every segment. Boarding order was preboard, priority and military, then Group 1. Pre and priority were about 15 to 20 people, Group 1 around 30 to 35. By the time Group 2 started, overhead space was already tight.
If you weren’t near the front of G2, finding bin space was hit or miss. I usually sit around row 5 or 6. On three flights my bag ended up behind me, sometimes back in row 7 or 8. A few G2 passengers in rows 2 and 3 had bags stored several rows back, which slowed down boarding and deplaning.
Only real head scratcher was on AUS to TPA. The very first overhead bin was blocked off for a single snack tray. Meanwhile people were walking their backpacks back multiple rows with nearly empty bins right above their seats.
Just something I noticed across all four segments.
