Hello everyone. We just received an upgrade to Yacht Club Deluxe on the MSC Poesia for our July Alaska sailing, which we are really excited about.
I had a question about the cabana-style seating on the Yacht Club sundeck. Are these cabanas an additional charge, or are they included and available on a first-come, first-served basis?
On a previous MSC Seashore Yacht Club sailing in February 2025, the cabanas were first come, first served, but I have heard that some ships now charge for them.
We are traveling with two teenagers who have special needs, and in past cruises we used those cabana areas as a quieter space for them so they would not disturb other guests. They are older now and generally well-behaved, but the space is still helpful for us.
Any recent experiences or clarification about how it works on the Poesia would be appreciated.
