My team and I booked rooms at the Moxy Hotels property in Nashville for a week of meetings. The main reason we chose this hotel was so everyone could stay together in one place.
However, just two days before our arrival, every member of our group received an email stating that their reservations were no longer available and that they had been relocated to different hotels across the city. This completely disrupts the purpose of our trip.
When we contacted the hotel, the response felt dismissive and lacked any real apology. We were told that other guests had higher priority for the rooms. At this point, last-minute pricing has made it extremely expensive to rebook nearby, and staying together would now cost significantly more or require moving far outside the city center.
As a Marriott lifetime Platinum Elite member, I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled.
