I was flying with Lufthansa from the United States to Rome via Frankfurt Airport when I accidentally left my iPad in a security screening bin.
By the time I realized it was missing, I did not have enough time to go back through passport control to retrieve it. I immediately submitted a lost item report, including the serial number and a “Find My” screenshot showing its location.
Since then, the device appears to have moved within the airport system, possibly to a lost and found area, but I have only received automated responses stating the item could not be located.
I have repeatedly updated the report with the new location, but I have not received any useful response. I am looking for suggestions on how I might be able to get it back.
