This sounds like the classic runaround. Short layover in IST, first flight late by about 30 minutes, connection missed, stuck overnight even though there were later flights the same day. Then Turkish comes back with the canned response blaming ATC and taxi time so no compensation.
What’s frustrating is the OP actually checked SHY Passenger and it seems like it should apply here, but TK just ignores it and closes the case. Feels like they count on people giving up once they get that “beyond our control” email.
Curious if anyone here has actually pushed Turkish successfully, or if going through a claims agency is the only way they take it seriously.
