I was supposed to see Chainsmokers at Brooklyn Mirage in early August. Had tickets for months, booked flights, took days off work. Now the whole thing’s scrapped or moved. Mirage just canceled Deadmau5, moved Subtronics to a smaller room, and squashed Chainsmokers into a single night under a bridge. Not even exaggerating they moved it to Under The K Bridge.
No update from the venue itself, just an email from Dice saying my show was off. They’ve been dodging this since May when the safety inspection failed. I get that venues go through issues, but the radio silence and shuffle routine is insane for a place that was supposed to be one of the best.
Anyone else feeling burned by Mirage this year?
