I’m planning a trip to Minneapolis soon and just read about the METRO Blue Line Extension getting approved and wow, this changes everything. It’s going to connect downtown to North Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, and Brooklyn Park, which means more access to cool spots like the Walker Art Center and the Sculpture Garden without having to deal with rental cars or ride shares.
As someone who loves city exploring on public transit, this sounds like a game-changer. Plus, it links up with the line that already goes to the airport and Mall of America. Less traffic, fewer emissions, and way more convenience.
Anyone else excited about this? Locals any underrated stops I should check out along the new route once it’s running?
