Minimum upgrade bid increased after I already placed a bid

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this with Scandinavian Airlines upgrade bidding.

I usually place the minimum bid on SAS flights just for fun. I never really expect to win the upgrade, but if it happens then it is a nice bonus.

I placed a bid around a month ago and recently checked it again. Now the system says my bid is below the current minimum allowed amount.

Does this happen often, and does it mean my original bid is no longer valid? I was wondering if the minimum amount changes over time because of demand, fuel prices, or something similar.
