With talk of Metra running up to Milwaukee, the current station just feels way too cramped. It’s boxed in by the river, street, and tight curve. Why not use the vacant land nearby for a bigger terminal with room for Hiawatha, Metra, Empire Builder, and even future Madison trains plus a proper concourse? Could be a game-changer for the area.
