I frequently fly between the USA and Turkey and recently applied for the Miles & Smiles Visa credit card. I spent around $5K to earn the bonus miles and understood one of the benefits to include priority boarding on flights from the USA to Turkey, along with helping reach higher tier status.
However, at SFO I was denied priority boarding and told that this benefit does not exist. I contacted customer service, and even though they confirmed some details, I still ran into issues at the airport.
I checked the credit card agreement and it does mention this perk for flights between the USA and Türkiye, so I am confused about whether I am misunderstanding the benefit or if it is not being properly honored. If anyone has experience with this card or program, clarification would be appreciated.
