I just flew Club World to Miami with British Airways and visited the recently renovated lounge there. It was genuinely impressive.
The lounge is large and well designed, with a cocktail bar, modern interiors, and a strong food offering. The quality was a standout, especially dishes like the beef, roasted fish, fresh salads, avocado, cured meats, and dips.
It made me realize how average the Heathrow T5 lounge feels in comparison. Considering how good the Miami lounge is, it shows that British Airways is capable of delivering a premium ground experience when it wants to, even if it is not consistent across locations.
I will overlook the usual onboard service and older Club World cabins for this trip, because the lounge experience really stood out.
