We are a family of four (42M, 42F, 13M, 11M) who are not very well traveled and have only been on one short cruise before. We are planning our first Mediterranean cruise and are looking for recommendations.
We are a fairly low-key family. We do not drink alcohol, we prefer quiet environments, and we are not interested in nightlife or dealing with loud or intoxicated passengers. We also tend to go to bed early and are mainly interested in history and cultural experiences during the day.
We are looking for a cruise line that does not heavily promote or bundle expensive drink packages into the overall experience, and generally offers a more relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere in the Mediterranean.
