Last year on an AA flight from ATL to CLT I got really sick, threw up, and fainted in the lav. Hit my head and blacked out again a little later. Nobody called EMS after landing and there was no incident report. I ended up going to the ER on my own and had a concussion.
When I followed up with AA, I got totally different stories from different departments. Some said I refused EMS, others said there was a report, others said there wasn’t.
Just trying to figure out if this is normal. If a passenger passes out and hits their head, is it standard for there to be no report and no EMS at all? Anyone in the industry know how this usually works?
