Checked into a Marriott today and just got an email saying they want to walk me for the third night of my three-night stay. That one caught me off guard.
I get overbooking situations at check-in, but I’ve never heard of being walked after you’re already staying there. I’m Gold status, not amazing but still something, and they’re offering 15,000 points for the inconvenience.
Anyone dealt with this before? Is that a reasonable offer or should I be pushing back harder? Not sure how to handle this one.
