We’ve been at the Westin Puerto Vallarta all week. Solid stay overall, even with some amenities under renovation and a bit of construction noise.
Checked out today. Bags at the door. Bellmen called a taxi. Then we find out the road to the airport is blocked because of the fires.
Called Southwest and rebooked. Walked back to the front desk and asked if we could check back in.
They gave us the same room, same rate. No hassle.
Credit where it’s due. That made a stressful situation a lot easier.
