Marriott employee stole my sister’s phone, caught on camera, still working there

Stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Cromwell, CT for my brother’s wedding my sister’s phone went missing the first night. The front desk kept denying they had it, even when “Find My Device” showed it pinging right there. We finally called police, and security footage confirmed the employee had stolen it. Her boyfriend later returned it mid–factory reset.


The wild part? She’s still working the front desk. When we called the hotel later, she answered. Corporate Marriott wouldn’t help just gave us an invalid GM email and said to “call the property.”


Police report filed, charges pending. But honestly, how does Marriott let someone caught on camera stealing from guests keep access to rooms and data?
