Stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego again and wow… the club lounge “renovations” finally make sense. They basically gutted it. What used to be a huge buffet is now like five sad items spread out to fill space.
No cheese. No berries. No cured meats. No variety of yogurt. They even took the peanut butter. It honestly feels like a Hyatt Place level breakfast now.
Not pictured is the hot section, which has turned into a few powdered egg wraps. That’s it.
If breakfast matters to you and you’re a Globalist, I’d honestly recommend the Andaz down the street instead. Free a la carte room service breakfast and way better value at this point.
