Man drove a car through the doors at DTW. I was right there.

Still kind of shaken typing this. About an hour ago at DTW, a man drove his vehicle straight through the doors near the international bag check at McNamara. I was only a few feet away from where it happened.

One second everything was normal, next second total chaos. Glass everywhere, people screaming, security rushing in. It’s one of those moments where it really hits how fast things can go wrong.

I’m just incredibly grateful I wasn’t hit and that I’m able to walk away from it. Hug your people a little tighter today.
