Heads up if you’re flying after a cruise. Fort Lauderdale’s Terminal 2 is rolling out new TSA scanners and now wants international travelers there 3.5 hours early (used to be 2). They’re also being strict on 100ml liquids, even duty-free, so rum and perfume buyers take note.
I sail Princess a lot out of FLL and don’t mind the upgrades long term, but for now it means longer waits. I’m getting to the airport at 6:30am for a 10am flight just to be safe.
Anyone been through Terminal 2 this week? Curious what the real wait times are like.
