In December 2025 I left my bag at Luton before an 8 day trip. Found it in Luggage Point’s system and picked it up when I got back, paid the £15 fee, no issues at the counter.
Got home, opened the bag, and realized $250 cash was missing. Went straight back and was told that if a bag is held more than 7 days, they remove any cash and deposit it into their business account for “safe keeping,” then transfer it back later. No one mentioned this at pickup.
I filled out the form on Dec 23 and was told I’d get the money back within 10 working days, minus fees. That never happened. I’ve emailed head office multiple times, asked for calls, nothing. The Luton desk keeps replying that they don’t handle cash transfers and to contact head office, which never responds.
I’ve now threatened legal action and reporting them to authorities because they’re literally holding my money. Has anyone dealt with this before and actually gotten their cash back? What worked? I’m beyond frustrated at this point.
