Flying AUS to FRA to Paris this Sunday with our 5 month old and Lufthansa has moved our seats twice now after we paid for the bulkhead and confirmed the bassinet. We called, they fixed it, said everything was set. Checked again today and we’ve been moved back to random seats in rows 27 and 28 with zero notice. No refund, no explanation.
We called twice and got basically “too bad, we can’t tell you why, hope someone cancels at the airport.” It’s not even just the bassinet not being guaranteed. It’s that they keep shuffling our seats around without saying a word and even separating us. Makes it hard to trust anything when traveling with a baby.
No alternate flights unless we switch carriers completely. Just feeling lost about what to do at this point.
