That would stress me out so much, especially with timed tickets and being there early.
The fact they couldn’t even give a real estimate and just said “come back at noon” makes it feel more serious than a normal delay. “Important meeting” is such a vague answer too, that’s never reassuring when you’re standing outside a museum at 8:30am.
Hopefully it’s something boring like staff or security issues and not anything dramatic. Still, this is exactly the kind of thing that can throw off an entire Paris day plan.
If anyone else was there or heard what actually happened, I’m really curious too.
