Left my AirPods Pro on a UA flight and reported it right away. The Find My tracking initially showed them sitting in an airport warehouse. United said they couldn’t find them. Two days later? They move to a private house 3 miles from the airport. Still moving around Houston every day, I can literally see the person commuting with them.
Sent UA updated screenshots, and they still hit me with “we can’t locate the item.” They also told me they don’t search outside the airport, which… okay, but it’s kinda wild watching your “lost” item live its new life somewhere else.
At least Chase eventually reimbursed me since the AirPods were bought with a United Club card. Still, the whole thing feels shady as hell.
