My boyfriend and I are planning a Mexico trip for our birthdays at the end of March. Neither of us has been to Mexico or done an all inclusive before, so we’re starting from zero and could use some guidance.
Here’s the ideal wish list, knowing we’ll probably have to compromise a bit:
Budget around $400 per night (4 nights total)
Really good food. He’s a former chef and we’re both big food people
Swim up bar
Beach access with swimmable water
On site golf or close to a golf course
Some kind of historical or cultural element nearby
Not somewhere completely overrun with college kids or party crowds
We’re open to different regions if it fits the vibe. Mostly looking for a balance of relaxing, good food, and a little exploring without it feeling like Cancun spring break.
Would love any recommendations or even areas to focus on.
