Booked SEA–SYD on a tight budget and didn’t realize HNL actually closes overnight. I land at 10:30pm and the airport shuts down at 11:30pm until 5am, and they don’t let passengers stay inside. Really don’t want to shell out for a hotel just for a few hours.
Anyone been in this situation? Any cheap or creative options that don’t involve sleeping on the street?
