We’re flying into EWR early afternoon and don’t depart from JFK until midnight. Traveling with a small dog and have a long overnight flight after, so we’d really like a day hotel to rest and let the dog get some exercise.
TWA Hotel looks great but $700 is just too much.
Is there a decent area closer to JFK that’s somewhat walkable and dog friendly? Doesn’t have to be fancy, just safe and practical for a few hours.
Open to suggestions from anyone who’s done a similar EWR to JFK layover.
