Prime No 7 in Astoria used to be a great Resy option for the Amex credits, but the owner told me they’re not taking Amex anymore. Too many people were eating a ton, then filing chargebacks with Amex, and he said he lost around $4800 in just a couple months.
Kinda sad, especially since it’s one of the few halal spots in NYC on Resy. He said PR is trying to work something out so they can accept Amex again without dealing with all the fraud.
