Currently sitting in the Polaris Lounge at SFO and it’s pretty full tonight. Still managed to grab a seat by the windows, but the dining room has a waitlist about 20 minutes last I checked. Bar staff is slammed but keeping things moving. Food looks solid; went with the short rib and a glass of Pinot.
My flight to London just got hit with a 45-minute delay due to a late inbound aircraft. Gate changed from G4 to G10, and everyone’s kind of camped out with half their stuff spread across chairs. Heard a rumor about an aircraft swap, but nothing confirmed yet.
Crew’s here though, and the Polaris team is doing their best to keep folks updated. At least the lounge bathrooms are spotless small win for the night.
