I just got off Liberty of the Seas this morning and was also onboard for the transatlantic crossing, so I got to see the ship both before and after the amplification updates.
Here are some of the changes I noticed:
Boleros is still there, and a Starbucks has been added across from it.
The pool deck received a major refresh with new seating, cabanas, updated pool bars, and the addition of El Loco Fresh.
Windjammer now has dedicated hand-washing stations.
Seating in Olive or Twist and the Crown Lounge has been replaced.
Izumi has taken over the space previously occupied by Sabor.
The former karaoke venue has been converted into the photo area.
The old photo gallery space has been expanded for additional casino use.
Stateroom door locks have been upgraded to the newer NFC-enabled system.
Overall, the changes make the ship feel noticeably more modern, especially around the pool deck and public spaces.
