My IAD–HND flight Saturday was delayed over an hour for baggage issues. Turns out they diverted some bags for weight balance mine ended up in San Francisco. Of course, no clothes in my carry-on.
United says it’ll be delivered by Tuesday and they’ll reimburse up to $1800, which is nice… but I might need to buy another bag just to bring it all home.
And pro tip: if you shop in the big & tall section, Tokyo is not the place to lose your luggage.
