Wanted to share this because I didn’t expect it to work out at all.
Yesterday I left my bag in the overhead bin. Full panic mode. It had a bunch of books in it. I called FlixBus and the agent was honestly great. She told me exactly which route the bus was on and said it would be coming back today around noon.
I went to the bus stop in Venice not really expecting much. Same driver was there, super nice, let me hop on and check. And yep, the bag was still there untouched.
Big tip if this happens to you. Call support and ask about the specific bus route. That info isn’t on the public site. If the bus loops back to the original city, you’ve got a real chance of getting your stuff back.
I know this won’t work for everything, but figured it might help someone else.
