Looks like big changes are coming to the Amex Platinum and Biz Platinum cards a leaked Amex page mentioned a new $600 annual hotel credit starting Sept. 18! That’s triple the current $200 credit and would now be split into $300 chunks twice a year. If true, this could seriously level up FHR bookings for those of us who use this card to travel in style.
I’m torn though. There’s also talk of the annual fee jumping to $895. If they throw in more perks like dining credits or event access, it might be worth it. But would this hotel boost be enough for you to hang onto or finally get the Platinum?
Curious what others think especially those who travel often for work or leisure.
