Flying LAX to Kauai soon with our 9-month-old. We booked her a seat planning to use the car seat, but now she’s super mobile and cries when strapped in. On a short Southwest hop we just used an empty seat to let her play, but this one’s 5+ hours.
For parents, did you find the car seat worth it at this stage, or better to use the seat as play space and hold during takeoff/turbulence? Any other tips for surviving a long flight with a crawler?
