Looks like LAX to EWR just got pulled too. No official word yet, but it’s showing as gone in the backend. That leaves only LAX–DCA as their last transcon.
Honestly shocked by how much they’ve scaled back. LA–NYC is one of the busiest routes in the country, and now Alaska’s just out of it completely. I really thought the HA merger might’ve helped strengthen their LAX presence instead of shrinking it.
