I am so ready to get one last ride in on Raging Bull before it closes for its big refresh!
That coaster has been a Six Flags Great America icon since 1999, and knowing Aug. 18 is the last chance before the repaint makes it feel like a send-off event. There’s just something about that first drop and the smooth twists that never gets old and I want to soak it in one more time before it’s out of commission for months.
I’m definitely making a trip to Gurnee before the deadline. It’s going to be part nostalgia trip, part adrenaline fix and maybe even a little emotional.
