Flying transatlantic on Austrian, economy, no status. So I’ll probably be one of the last to board.
What are the chances they’ll make me gate check my carry on? Trying to figure out if overhead space usually runs out on these flights.
Also wondering about the 8kg limit. If I’m slightly over, do they actually weigh bags at the gate? I’d rather not check it at bag drop if I can avoid it.
Anyone flown Austrian long haul recently as one of the last groups?
