I visited Las Vegas recently after not being there for about 10 years, and my overall impression is that the atmosphere feels much less energetic than before.
While walking along the Strip, many areas seemed only moderately busy rather than lively. The general vibe felt subdued compared to my previous experiences, where people were more actively engaging, gambling, and enjoying themselves.
I also noticed that table minimums at casinos are quite high, which may be affecting how many people participate in gambling activities.
During my stay, I visited several properties including Conrad at Resorts World, Bellagio, MGM, and Fontainebleau, but none of them stood out in terms of atmosphere or excitement.
I am unsure whether this change is due to pricing, post-pandemic effects, or broader shifts in tourism, but the overall experience felt underwhelming compared to the past.
