Landing at 7pm and making an 8pm Forum show is a big gamble

Even if you’re fast and know LAX well, that timeline is tight.

Best case: block in at 19:00, you’re off the plane by 19:10, hustle straight to LAX it, minimal wait for the shuttle, quick Uber match, light traffic, and no slowdown getting into the Forum. That’s basically a perfect run with zero hiccups.

More realistically, deplaning takes longer, LAX it shuttles can stack up during the evening rush, and traffic around the Forum at concert time is often ugly. Even if the concert “starts” at 20:00, doors and opening acts can help, but if it’s a headliner with a strict start, you’re flirting with disaster.

I’ve done similar speed runs and I’d call this about a 30 to 40 percent success rate unless everything aligns. If you’re okay missing the first part or stressing the whole way, go for it. If not, I’d look for an earlier arrival or backup transport plan.

Fun idea, but definitely not something I’d bet on.
