Lake George getting the 3 spot on USA Today's list of best lakes in the U.S. just feels right. If you've ever spent a summer day there, you know why it's called the Queen of American Lakes clean, scenic, packed with things to do but still peaceful in spots. Sunset cruises, Million Dollar Beach, parasailing, it's got it all.
Funny that it beat out Lake Champlain and Lake Erie too not shocked, just kind of proud. It’s one of those rare places that’s loved by both hikers and champagne-sippers. Curious what others think: would you put it above Big Bear or Elkhart?
