I’m traveling to Los Angeles for a work conference, and my company has allowed me to choose any IHG property except the Regent and InterContinental. I was a bit disappointed about the InterContinental since I’m an Ambassador member and would have preferred that option.
I’d like recommendations on where to stay in LA, especially since I’ve heard mixed opinions about the different Kimpton properties. My main priorities are:
Comfortable, spacious rooms with good features like a bathtub, nice views, and soundproofing
A convenient and safe location with walkable access to restaurants and attractions
Good service, including flexible check-in/check-out and responsive staff
I’m not interested in nightlife or partying, just a comfortable, relaxing stay with some opportunities for sightseeing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
