Korean Air Launches Premium Economy, A Game-Changer for Mid-Range Travelers?

Starting next month, Korean Air is rolling out a brand-new Premium Economy called Premium Class on retrofitted Boeing 777-300ERs. I’m genuinely excited with just 40 seats in a 2-4-2 layout, 130° recline, 15.6" 4K screens, and even Prestige Class-inspired meals on Armani/Casa tableware, this sounds like a sweet upgrade from standard economy without going full business class.

The only catch? It’s debuting on short to medium-haul routes out of Seoul and only on 11 aircraft. Prices are expected to be about 110% of economy fares, so not bad for the added comfort.

Personally, I think this is a smart move and overdue. Anyone else planning to try it soon? Curious how it stacks up against similar offerings from ANA or JAL.
